Bremer Continues Expansion with Groundbreaking in Oak Park Heights

Oak Park Heights, Minn. – November 8, 2007 – Bremer Bank, a regional financial services company jointly owned by its employees and the Otto Bremer Foundation, today celebrated its continued expansion in the Twin Cities with a groundbreaking ceremony for a new bank location in Oak Park Heights. The bank will be located on Nova Scotia Avenue, off Highway 36 near Lowe's and is slated for completion in spring 2008.

When completed, the new bank will cover 4,500 square feet and will include three drive-up lanes, one with an ATM, and safe deposit boxes. The new bank will offer a full-range of retail and business banking, investment, insurance and trust products and services.

“We are excited to continue our expansion in the Twin Cites with our new Oak Park Heights location,” said Steve Meads, president of Bremer in the Twin Cities. “Today's groundbreaking demonstrates our commitment to provide easy access and outstanding service to the East Metro, our clients and the surrounding communities.”

Last year, the Otto Bremer Foundation gave nearly $15 million in charitable grants to nonprofit organizations in the Twin Cities Metro Area. Additionally, Bremer employees volunteer thousands of hours on an annual basis to organizations throughout the Twin Cities.
