Albrecht Joins Bremer as Director of Wealth Planning Services
St. Paul, Minn. – December 3, 2007 – Bremer Financial, a regional financial services company jointly owned by its employees and the Otto Bremer Foundation, has announced the hiring of Susan Klasen Albrecht as senior vice president and director of Wealth Planning Services. Albrecht will work directly with clients in estate, trust, insurance and wealth management planning. She will be based in Bremer's headquarters in St. Paul.
Albrecht has nearly 20 years of experience in wealth management and business development, in both the corporate and private practice sector. Prior to joining Bremer, she was the vice president, general counsel and chief compliance officer at Catholic Aid Association in St. Paul. She has also served in various legal counsel roles for Minnesota Life, Hall & Byers and Federated Insurance.

Albrecht received her J.D. from Hamline University School of Law and has a bachelor's degree in finance from St. Cloud State University. She also holds the charter life underwriter designation from the American College in Bryn Mawr, Penn. Albrecht is currently a member of the Association of Insurance Compliance Professionals and the Minnesota State and Ramsey County Bar Associations.
