Bremer Bank Plans for Expansion in Fergus Falls with Purchase of Downtown Building
Fergus Falls, Minn. - February 14, 2008 - Bremer Bank, a regional financial services company jointly-owned by its employees and the Otto Bremer Foundation, has purchased a downtown building in Fergus Falls. The building, currently owned by Ottertail County, is located at 225 Cavour Ave. Bremer plans to open a new branch location in the building at a future date, to service the growing needs of its clients in the community.

Bremer will maintain its current branch location at 2330 College Way, where it offers clients banking, investments, trust and insurance services. The bank and one of its owners the Otto Bremer Foundation, have given more than $3 million dollars to nonprofit organizations in Fergus Falls and Ottertail County in the past 10 years. Additionally, employees volunteer hundreds of hours on an annual basis to organizations throughout the Fergus Falls community.
