Burke Named Market Manager at Bremer Bank in Watertown

Watertown, Minn. - February 27, 2008 - Bremer Bank, a regional financial services company jointly-owned by its employees and the Otto Bremer Foundation, announces that Susan Burke has been named market manager for the Watertown branch. Burke previously was a mortgage loan officer for Bremer in Watertown.

Burke has more than 20 years of experience in the banking industry holding a variety of positions. Prior to joining Bremer, she served as vice president and director of marketing for First Federal Bank in Hutchinson, Minn. She also held the positions of senior business advisory officer and marketing program/product manager at Norwest Corporation (Wells Fargo) in Minneapolis. Additionally, she worked as an assistant vice president, managing credit review, loan administration and loan operations at The Bank Group, Inc. in Wayzata, Minn. and as a credit analyst for First Bank Hopkins in Hopkins, Minn.

“Susan has extensive experience working in the banking industry and serving clients from a number of different disciplines,” said Karen Clark, district market manager for Bremer Bank. “She has been a real asset to Bremer and we look forward to her contributions as she leads the team to take action for our clients in Watertown.”

Burke has a bachelor's degree from St. Cloud State University in marketing and business. She is very active in the community, serving on the Watertown-Mayer High School Site Based Council board. She is also a member of the Watertown Chamber of Commerce and volunteers at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Watertown. Additionally, she will be serving on the Ridgeview Foundation Business Partners Community Board and involved in the Watertown Waconia Women's Network Group in the near future.
