Bremer Bank Inver Grove Heights Celebrates 30-Year Anniversary; Open House Set for Friday, June 6
Inver Grove Heights, Minn. - May 20, 2008 - Bremer Bank Inver Grove Heights celebrates its 30-year anniversary this month. The branch, located at 6800 Cahill Ave. East, opened its doors in the same building location 30 years ago as Drovers State Bank, a member of Bremer Financial Corporation. Bremer invites the community to an anniversary open house including food and beverages at the bank Friday, June 6, from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
"Bremer has been a staple in the Inver Grove Heights community for decades," said Jennifer Gale, president of the River Heights Chamber of Commerce. "The organization’s vision of building healthy communities certainly has held true in our neighborhood through its client service, employee volunteerism, sponsorship and charitable grants. Bremer is a true leader in our community."
The bank eventually became Drovers First American Bank and today is simply Bremer Bank. The branch currently has eight employees offering banking, insurance, trust and investments. Several of the original branch employees continue to work for Bremer in other locations.
