Bremer Bank Promotes Hellermann to Branch Manager in Alexandria
Alexandria, Minn. - September 29, 2008 - Bremer Bank, a regional financial services company jointly-owned by its employees and the Otto Bremer Foundation, announces the promotion of Steve Hellermann to branch manager of the Alexandria South branch, located at 2210 Highway 29 South.
Hellermann joined Bremer in 2003 as a personal banking officer, a position he has held for the past five years. Prior to Bremer, Hellermann served in a variety of different roles, including mortgage lending and branch management. He worked at St. Stephen State Bank in St. Cloud, GATR of Sauk Rapids, Heartland Credit Union in Inver Grove Heights and Commercial State Bank in St. Paul.

"His extensive experience in the banking industry and his deep leadership qualities made him the perfect fit to lead the branch. We look forward to his contributions in this new role."
Hellermann has an engineering degree from St. Cloud State University and spent nine years serving in the United States Army and Army Reserves. He is an active volunteer, serving on the Habitat for Humanity Douglas County Board of Directors and St. Mary’s School Board in Melrose.
