Bill Goerdt Joins Bremer Financial Services as Manager of Application Development and Data Management Lake Elmo, Minn. - October 13, 2008 - Bremer Financial Services, a regional financial services company jointly-owned by its employees and the Otto Bremer Foundation, announces the hire of Bill Goerdt as the manager of application development and data management in technology services. Goerdt will be located at the Bremer Service Center in Lake Elmo, Minn. Goerdt joins Bremer from Ameriprise Financial where he most recently served as the development director for the insurance product administration business. He also spent seven years as a project architect and senior technical resource at Ameriprise. Goerdt has also served in a development or project manager role at Fortis Financial Group, American Express Financial Advisors, Western Life Insurance Company, Andersen Consulting and Sears, Roebuck and Company. "Bill has extensive expertise in development and project management that made him the best fit for our application development manager," said Tom Ryan, chief information officer for Bremer Financial Services. "His industry and leadership experience will be a great addition to the team as we continue to build and develop our technology platforms to best serve our clients." Goerdt has a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Winona State University and a master’s degree in management from the University of St. Thomas.
