Hunstiger and Schwieters Move to Bremer Private Client Services
St. Cloud, Minn. - October 30, 2008 - Bremer Financial Services, a regional financial services company jointly-owned by its employees and the Otto Bremer Foundation, announces the move of Kurt Hunstiger and Jennifer Schwieters to the vice president and personal trust officer respectively in the company’s Private Client Services business unit. Hunstiger and Schwieters, who previously worked in Bremer Investment Management and Trust, will continue to office in St. Cloud at the 1100 Germain Street location.
Hunstiger, who has more than 27 years of experience working in the financial services industry, was previously an assistant vice president with Bremer Investment Management and Trust. During his nine-year career at Bremer, he also has served as the regional manager in institutional trust. He is a member of the Sauk Rapids Planning Commission and a past city council member for Sauk Rapids. Hunstiger also served on the Sauk Rapids Joint Planning Board for 10 years. He holds the Certified Financial Planning (CFP) and Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor (CMFC) designations.
Schwieters was previously a personal trust officer in Bremer’s Investment Management and Trust. Overall, she has more than 17 years of experience working in the financial services field. Prior to joining Bremer more than four years ago, Schwieters worked at Kern, DeWenter, Viere as a senior tax accountant and Zapp Bank Trust as a trust associate. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and holds the Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation.
