Skalla Joins Bremer Bank as Senior Lender and Business Banking Manager in Willmar

Willmar, Minn. - December 9, 2008 -Bremer Bank, a regional financial services company jointly-owned by its employees and the Otto Bremer Foundation, announces the hire of Kevin Skalla in the role of senior lender and business banking manager in Willmar.

Skalla has more than 23 years of experience in the banking industry. He most recently was a senior vice president and regional ag banking manager for Wells Fargo. Prior to that, he was a business and ag banking manager at Signal Bank in Red Wing, Minn., and First National Bank of Waverly, Iowa.

"Kevin has decades of experience working in the banking industry on a number of different levels,” said Greg Hilding, president of Bremer Bank in Willmar. “His experience in lending and business coupled with his leadership skills make him an excellent addition to our team at Bremer. Skalla has a bachelor’s degree in agricultural business and commercial economics from South Dakota State University in Brookings, S.D.
