Bremer Trust Launches Farm Management Services
Grand Forks, N.D. - May 4, 2009 - Bremer Trust, a division of Bremer Financial Services, announces the launch of Farm Management Services which includes all aspects of supporting clients to maintain land ownership due to a retirement, health issues or inheritance, and to provide complete management services for investors or other absentee landowners. These services will be provided in all 20 Bremer communities in the Red River Valley.
To establish these services, Bremer has hired consultant John Botsford. Botsford, a 30 plus-year veteran of farm sales and management, will office in Grand Forks, N.D. Botsford will work with an existing team of Bremer Trust specialists to develop this business line.

He also has developed extensive land management expertise having spent many years working with clients through these transitions.”
Bremer’s Farm Management Services will assist clients with: finding a quality renter for the farmer’s land (and strive to secure fair market value rent), ensuring the renter uses proper farming practices to maintain or improve land productivity, conducting farm inspections, monitoring participation in and compliance with applicable government programs and providing accounting services and distributing net income.
