Ellingson Recognized at Annual Women of Excellence Awards

Brainerd, Minn. - June 29, 2009 - Bremer Bank Senior Vice President and Business Banker Kim Ellingson was recently recognized at the seventh annual Girl Scouts of Minnesota and Wisconsin Lakes and Pines Women of Excellence Awards.

Ellingson recevied the award for the leader in the “Strengthening Our Communities for Tomorrow” category, which honors a woman who has made a significant impact on the quality of life in the community. Ellingson was recognized for her work to alleviate community problems, support quality of life projects and contributions to the economic growth and stability in her community.

A 21-year veteran of the banking industry, Ellingson has been a business banker at Bremer for the past 10 years and currently serves as the senior lender and business banking manager in Brainerd. She is on the board of directors for Trinity Children’s Center, Brainerd Lakes Area early Childhood Coalition, Brainerd Main Street Advisory Committee and is the past treasurer of the Sertoma Club. Ellingson also is an active volunteer with Junior Achievement, Rejoice Lutheran Church and the Sertoma WinterWonderland event.
