Bremer’s Sandberg Receives Service to Mankind Award from the Greater Grand Forks Sertoma Club
Grand Forks, N.D. - July 28, 2009 - Bremer Bank Retail/Commercial Services Coordinator Curt Sandberg was awarded the Service to Mankind honor from the Greater Grand Forks Sertoma Club at a recent luncheon celebration. The Service to Mankind award is the highest honor given to a non-Sertoman, who shows exemplary service in the area of community volunteerism and leadership.
Sandberg is a 17-year veteran at Bremer Bank. During his career, he has been recognized for the outstanding service he provides to clients and his commitment to volunteerism and the community. For the past 20 years, he has served in a number of different capacities for the United Way, has been a member and club leader with the Optimist Club since 1972 and has volunteered on various committees with his church for more than three decades.
Additionally, Sandberg has been a chamber volunteer, board member and served as the vice chairman of the board. He has also volunteered for special projects, including the Valley Memorial fundraising effort after the 1997 flood, Boy Scout campaigns, YMCA activities and Dollars for Scholars.
