Bremer Bank’s Doyle Promoted to President; Hilding to Lead New South Region for Bremer Financial Corporation
Willmar, Minn. - April 9, 2010 - Bremer Bank announces the promotion of MaryAnn Doyle to president of the Willmar bank. Doyle joined Bremer in 1988 and has held a variety of leadership roles within the bank.
Doyle has more than 30 years of banking experience serving a variety of roles. She was most recently senior vice president and business banking team lead. Doyle is very active in the community, having served as a board member for Kandiyohi County Area Family YMCA, West Central Industries Resource Center, GROW MN of the Willmar Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce and was chair of the Kandiyohi County Women’s Business Revolving Loan Fund. She also volunteers with several other nonprofits and professional associations in Willmar.

Doyle will report to Roger Madison, who in addition to his current position as president of Bremer Bank in Marshall will take on the expanded role of chief executive officer of Bremer Bank in Southwest Minnesota. Madison is succeeding Greg Hilding who has been promoted to a Group President role with Bremer Financial Corporation. Madison has been with Bremer for nearly 20 years. Prior to his time in Marshall, he was senior vice president and retail manager for Bremer in Willmar for 14 years.
Hilding Promoted to Lead South Region for Bremer Financial Corporation
In his new role as Group President, Hilding will continue as chairman of the board for Bremer Bank in Southwest Minnesota, but has accepted additional responsibility for leading Bremer's newly created South Region, is heading the company's expansion efforts and now oversees all of Bremer's Investment, Trust and Insurance businesses.
"I think Greg's promotion is a recognition by Bremer's senior management that what has made Bremer successful in this market can be applied in other markets as well," said Colleen Thompson Michels, Bremer Bank Board Member. “Greg will continue to have an important presence in this market, but MaryAnn and Roger will now become more prominent leaders in our community."
Hilding will have an office in Willmar and at Bremer’s St. Paul Corporate Headquarters. He and his family will continue to live in Willmar.
As part of the newly expanded South Region, Kevin Skalla has been promoted to Region Credit Manager to oversee all lending activities and will report directly to Hilding. Skalla joined Bremer in 2008, and has more than 25 years of banking experience in leadership roles in both business and agricultural banking.
