Bremer Bank Adds Henslin to New Owatonna Team
Owatonna, Minn. – April 24, 2012 - Bremer Bank announces the hire of Peter Henslin as an ag banker in the new Owatonna location. Henslin, a native of Southern Minnesota, grew up on an area family farm and has been working in the ag business for the past five years.
Henslin joins Bremer from Ellingson Companies in West Concord, Minn., where he worked in ag drainage sales. Prior to that, he worked for Central Valley Cooperative in Austin, Minn., as a sales agronomist. Henslin has a bachelor’s degree in agricultural business from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. He is a board member for the Dodge County Corn and Soybean Growers Association and the Dodge County Farm Bureau. Henslin also serves on the Triton High School FFA Advisory Committee.
“It is very apparent that Bremer’s dedication to the communities they serve and my passion for ag are a good fit as I look forward to serving the ag industry in Southeast Minnesota,” said Henslin.
“Pete’s extensive experience and knowledge of the ag industry will be a tremendous asset for us as we continue to build business relationships at Bremer in the Owatonna area,” said David Marcoux, market president for Bremer Bank in Owatonna. “Pete has clearly established himself as a leader in area ag organizations and has a real passion for ag business that started in his youth growing up on an area farm. We feel very fortunate to have him join our team.”
Bremer recently broke ground on its new Owatonna bank, which will be located at 730 West Bridge Street. Construction is slated to be complete in the fall of 2012.
