Bremer Bank Hires Brown as Twin Cities Human Resources Director
Minneapolis, Minn. – October 24, 2012 - Bremer Bank announces the hire of Meghan Brown as a senior vice president and human resources director for the Twin Cities area. Brown has more than 20 years of human resources experience and will serve as the human resources business partner for the organization’s 28 Twin Cities’ branch locations.
Brown joins Bremer from Target Corporation, where she held several human resources positions including director of human resources for the past four years. Prior to that, she spent 10 years working in human resources at Tapemark Company in St. Paul. Brown also worked in communications and human resources at Lutheran Social Service. She has a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., and a master’s of business administration from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul.
Brown is very active in the community and currently serves as a director for Murphy Warehouse Companies in Minneapolis. She has also served on the board of directors for the Melpomene Institute Minneapolis and the Convent of the Visitation School. Additionally, she has served on advisory committees for Working Family Resource Center, the United Way’s Success by 6 and Minnesota School Readiness. Brown has also been an instructor for Minnesota Business Venture with Best Prep.
