Martin Luther King Day Celebrated in Fargo by Howard Barlow, Fargo The Human Relations Commission of the City of Fargo hosted the annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration at the historic Fargo Theatre on January 17. Board Diversity: Critical to Effective Board Governance by Kathy Grochow, St. Cloud The basic responsibilities of board members are to set the strategic direction of the organization, hold management accountable for progress toward that strategic vision and provide fiduciary oversight. Governance is really the mechanism that the Board uses to guide the work of the organization and it allows the board to be successful in designing the organization’s future.
