Bremer Bank Names New Group President
St. Paul, MN – APRIL 18, 2011 - Deb Bauman has been named Group President for Bremer Bank with responsibility for Bremer’s Operations, Technology and eCommerce. Bauman has nearly 30 years of experience working in a variety of technology and operations roles in retail, financial services, insurance, manufacturing and the airline industry.
In her new role, Bauman will be responsible for establishing short- and long-term business strategies and specific deliverables for all three functional areas. Ensuring consistency and reliability of core capabilities, as well as delivery systems, and developing longer-term business plans to ensure increasing levels of growth and profitability will be key accountabilities.
For the past three years, Bauman served as chief information officer for Sun Country Airlines. Additionally, she led the IT organization at Deluxe Corporation and was an executive member of the IT team at Target. Bauman also had stints at Fingerhut Corp, Minnesota Mutual Life Insurance and A.C. Nielsen Marketing Research.

Bauman is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and a published writer, with articles in Information Week and Computer World. Active in the community, she serves on the board of Bridge for Youth, was a member of Compaq’s (HP) Business Critical Customer Council and several years ago was nominated for the Minnesota Technology Executive of the Year.
