Bremer Bank Set to Break Ground in Owatonna
Owatonna, Minn. – March 29, 2012 - Bremer Bank announced plans to officially break ground on its new bank at 730 West Bridge Street in Owatonna, on Thursday, April 5.
Construction of the new bank is scheduled to be completed in the fall of 2012. When finished, the new bank will offer over 4,500 square feet and will include multiple drive-up lanes and a drive-up ATM. The new bank will employ up to 16 people and offer a full-range of retail, ag and business banking, mortgage, investments and insurance products and services.
“Bremer selected Owatonna as our next expansion location because of its robust business community and growing population, which further extends our regional presence in Southeast Minnesota,” said Greg Hilding, Group President and leader of Bremer’s expansion efforts. “Additionally, Owatonna closely matches the profile of the other Bremer Bank communities where we have been able to successfully meet the needs of clients. We are really excited to get construction underway and open our new doors later this year.”
David Marcoux, who joined Bremer in October 2011, will manage the new Owatonna bank. He has been working from a loan production office in Owatonna since late last year with Jason Eyberg, vice president in business banking.
“We’ve been on the ground in Owatonna for several months building relationships,” said Marcoux. “We have enjoyed meeting area businesses and sharing the Bremer story. We’re thrilled with the reception we’ve received and are excited to begin construction on the bank as we continue building our Owatonna team.”
