Bremer Bank Hires Business Banker in La Crosse
La Crosse, Wis. – February 14, 2013 - Bremer Bank announces the hire of Mark Carpenter as vice president and senior business banker in the bank’s new La Crosse, Wis., location. Carpenter brings more than 30 years of banking experience to Bremer and will work to service the banking needs of business clients in the La Crosse market.

Carpenter joins Bremer from BMO Harris, where he was a senior relationship manager in La Crosse. He has also held positions at Associated Bank and Norwest Bank (Wells Fargo). Carpenter has a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse. He is an active member of the community, serving on the boards of Mayo Clinic Health System and volunteering locally with the Roncalli Newman Center.
Carpenter will office out of the bank’s temporary loan production office located at 100 N. 6th Street in downtown La Crosse, while Bremer seeks a location to build a new bank. He can be reached at 608-779-7586.

The new La Crosse bank when completed will include multiple drive-up lanes and a drive-up ATM. The new bank will employ up to 20 people and offer a full-range of retail, ag and business banking, mortgage, investments and insurance products and services. The branch is expected to be open for business early fall, 2013.
