Bremer Hires Bowe to Lead Commercial Insurance

St. Paul, Minn. – March 28, 2013 - Bremer Insurance announces the hire of Kelly Bowe as the head of commercial insurance. Bowe has nearly 30 years of insurance experience and will be located in the South St. Paul Bremer Bank office.

“Kelly has an extensive experience in the insurance business, including a strong sales, marketing and business development background,” said Mark Schmiel, president of Bremer Trust and Insurance. “We feel very fortunate to have a leader like Kelly join our team and help us grow our commercial insurance business.”

Bowe most recently was the business development manager at Motorists Mutual Insurance Company in Edina, Minn. Prior to that, he spent 16 years with American Hardware Mutual Co., in Minnetonka, in a variety of sales and marketing roles. Bowe started his career at John Deere Insurance Company. He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota, Duluth and holds property casualty and life/health insurance licenses. Bowe also has the Certified Insurance Counselor’s designation.
