August 6, 2015 - Bremer Bank has hired Scott Morrissette as Business Banking vice president in New Richmond. He will support the expanding business banking needs in northwest Wisconsin.
Morrissette comes to Bremer with more than 26 years of banking experience, most recently as community bank president at Associated Bank, N.A., in Hudson and River Falls. He completed the Graduate School of Banking program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2005, and prior to that obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Urban Planning from the University of Minnesota.
In addition to his professional work, Morrissette is deeply involved in his community. He has served as president of the River Falls Area Chamber of Commerce and received the Chamber Champion Award in 2013. He was president of the River Falls Rotary from 2014 to 2015. And he has served in a variety roles for the River Falls Alderman at Large, where he is currently the council president.
“Scott is a long-standing resident of River Falls and has in-depth knowledge of the area,” said Dan Draxler, Region CEO of the Northwest Wisconsin Region. “With his extensive banking experience and commitment to serving the business community — as well as the community at large — he will be an asset to Bremer Bank and, more importantly, to our clients.
“Plus, as we continue to explore opportunities in Wisconsin, such as in St. Croix County in the south, and Pierce and Pepin Counties in the west, Scott’s regional knowledge will be invaluable,” Draxler said.
Morrissette will work out of the New Richmond Bremer Bank branch. He, his wife and their three children reside in River Falls.Bremer Financial Corporation
