June 23, 2014 - Bremer Bank announces the promotion of Wes Black to Market President in Minot. Black, a 29-year Bremer Bank veteran, was previously the market manager for Bremer Bank in Rugby. He will relocate to Minot to lead all operational, financial and staffing functions of the two bank locations.
Black has more than 35 years of financial services and banking experience and led the Rugby Bremer Bank since 1992. Prior to that, Black worked as a business banker for Bremer in Carrington, N.D. He is a native of McHenry, N.D. and has a bachelor’s degree from North Dakota State University.
“Wes is a very experienced banker and manager, who has led Bremer’s growth for many years in the Rugby community,” said Russ Erickson, President and CEO of the Bremer Bank Fargo Charter. “He not only knows Bremer inside and out, but he also has a tremendous understanding of our clients’ needs in Central North Dakota.
