August 13, 2014 - Bremer Trust announces that Craig Ordal has joined the organization as the executive vice president of Wealth Management. Ordal has more than 20 years of financial services and wealth management experience and will lead the regional trust managers as well as the Twin Cities personal trust managers.
Ordal re-joins Bremer from Northern Trust where he most recently was a Senior Investment and Trust Manager. Prior to that, Ordal was a Trust Metro Market Manager for Bremer in Minneapolis for four years. He also spent 11 years as a private client manager at Wells Fargo in Minneapolis. Ordal has a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.
“Our Bremer Trust business continues to grow and we identified a need to add a senior leader that could support our regional trust managers across our footprint,” said Mark Schmiel, president of Bremer Trust. “Craig is a perfect fit for this role. He spent four years working at Bremer as a trust officer and has a very successful background assisting high net worth client with their financial needs. That experience, in addition to the leadership role he had at Northern Trust, made him a great candidate for Bremer and this position.”Bremer Financial Corporation
