October 2, 2014 - Bremer is excited to announce the hire of Leon Keller as Regional Agricultural Manager for the Alexandria Region. Additionally, Keller will also serve as the market president for Bremer Bank Fergus Falls. Keller, who has more than 25 years of ag banking and leadership experience, will be located in Fergus Falls. Current Bremer senior ag banker Lynn Murray will retire at the end of the year.
Keller joins Bremer from AgCountry Farm Credit Services in Fergus Falls, where he most recently was a senior loan officer and branch manager. Prior to that, he was a senior loan officer at AgriBank in St. Paul. Keller also worked at Farmer’s Home Administration. Keller has a bachelor’s degree in agronomy from North Dakota State University in Fargo and a master’s in management from the University of Mary.
“With Lynn’s upcoming retirement from banking, we were determined to find a new leader for our Alexandria Region Ag team,” said Brent Iserman, Bremer Bank Alexandria Region CEO. “We were really fortunate to have discussions with Leon to not only take on this senior ag leadership role, but also to manage our Fergus Falls location. He is a strong leader with a wealth of ag banking experience and we look forward to introducing him to our clients.”Bremer Financial Corporation
