Robert has a wealth of knowledge in banking with 34 years of Ag lending experience, particularly in crop production, livestock cow/calf and feeder operations. Born and raised in North Dakota, Robert comes from a family heavily involved in crop and livestock farming. Robert graduated from North Dakota State University with a degree in Ag economics and a minor in agronomy. He has been using his knowledge and insights to help customers grow their farm operations and become successful through sound management principles.
Robert started his ag lending career with Farm Credit Services where he spent 9 years before joining Bremer. Robert believes in giving back to his community. Since 1994, he has been a member of Kiwanis International Service where he served as the president from 1999-2000 and then as the local club treasurer, and is a position he has held since 2012. Robert has also been a Sunday School teacher for most of his career and has also served on the local Richland-Wilkin United Way board as the President from 2014-2015. Robert was also involved in transitioning the organization from United Way to the ND Community Development Foundation. During his free time, Robert enjoys traveling and biking with his wife and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
