Wahpeton, N.D. - June 10, 2010 - Bremer Bank is set to open its new branch at 1618 Commerce Street at the intersection of 16th Ave and 210 Bypass in Wahpeton on June 14. The new bank has more than 4,500 square feet and includes three drive-up lanes, including a drive-up ATM, as well as safe deposit boxes. The new bank will employ about 11 people and offer a full-range of retail and business banking, mortgage, investment, insurance, and Trust products and services.
“We are so excited to open the doors at our new bank location in Wahpeton,” said Jana Berndt, Bremer president. “It is the culmination of a lot of hard work from our staff and it wouldn’t be possible without the continued support of our clients. Our continued growth in the market led us to the decision to build this new bank and we know it will help us serve our clients even better in the future.”
Bremer has been in Wahpeton for nearly 15 years and currently leases a branch in the local Econo Foods store. That location has grown significantly and customer demand has increased dramatically at the grocery store, leading Bremer to make the decision to build its own branch in Wahpeton. The Econo Foods location will close at 6 p.m. on Friday, June 11. The full service drive up ATM will be available at the new location starting Friday, June 11. For additional services on Saturday, June 12, clients can access the Bremer Bank at 225 North 5th St in Breckenridge , call Bremer’s Phone Bank (1-800-908-2265) or online at Bremer.com.
The new bank lobby will be open Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. The drive-up will be open Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. – Noon.
