Electronic Signature Disclosures & Consent

This notice contains important information that you are entitled to receive before you consent to electronic signature and delivery of documents related to this transaction with Bremer Bank.

After you have read this information, if you agree to sign the documents electronically and receive electronic copies, please check the box on the Bremer Bank SmartSign welcome page.

Statement of electronic disclosures

If you consent to sign electronically and receive copies of documents electronically, you may contact us to withdraw that consent at any time. You may also withdraw your consent by clicking the "Withdraw Consent" button. If you withdraw consent, paper copies of documents related to this transaction will be mailed to you. A fee will not be charged if you withdraw consent and receive paper copies.

You agree to print or download electronic documents to keep for your records when we advise you to do so. After your consent is given, you may access paper copies of documents related to this transaction, at no charge to you, within 90 days of the date of this transaction.

System requirements

To ensure you have the best experience using the electronic signature service and get the most current security features to protect your information online, we advise that you have a computer that meets the following requirements:

  • A computer using Mac OS X, Windows Vista, 7, 8, or 10 operating system; or tablets, or smartphones using up-to-date Android, Blackberry, or iOS operating systems.

  • A printer to print copies of documents, or sufficient computer disk space to save copies of documents.

  • Internet access with an up-to-date internet browser that allows per-session cookies (please check these for compatibility). We recommend Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 or Microsoft Edge, Firefox 5 or above, Safari, or Chrome.

  • Ability to send and receive email containing links to website and attached files. 

  • Ability to view electronic documents in PDF format. 

If computer requirements change in the future, we will use reasonable efforts to notify you of the change. If you choose to withdraw your consent upon notification of the change, you may do so without a fee imposed.

If you do not have required software or hardware, are unable to print or download any documents, or if you do not wish to use electronic signatures for any reason, you can request paper copies, at no charge to you, by contacting the person that invited you to view and/or sign the documents using the contact information that person provided you.

Your consent does not mean that we must provide electronic signature and electronic delivery of documents. We may, at our option, deliver documents on paper. We may also require that certain communications from you be delivered to us on paper at a specified address.

For any questions regarding the documents, electronic signature or to provide updated electronic contact information, you must contact the person who invited you to view and/or sign the documents using the contact information that person provided to you.

You must notify us promptly if there is a change in your electronic contact information by using the contact information of the person that invited you to view and/or sign documents, or by calling us at 800-908-2265. If you use Online Banking, you may also send us a secure email after logging in.

Consent

I have read the above information about the use of electronic signature and document delivery, and consent to its use in connection with this transaction, in place of printed documents and handwritten signatures. I have been able to view this information using my computer or mobile device, and I am able to send email and receive email with links to websites and attached files. If I entered a one-time code sent to me in a text message, entry of that code proves my ability to access the information that is the subject of this consent.
