Bremer Bank Meals for Many campaign marks milestone

07.26.18

The 13th annual Bremer Bank Meals for Many Campaign raised $98,246 to help feed food-insecure individuals and families. The funds raised include Bremer’s $1-for-$1 match of $25,000. Bremer has raised $1,591,976 to help fight hunger in the communities it serves since launching the Meals for Many Campaign in 2005.

The campaign supports the efforts of Second Harvest Heartland, Feeding America and a number of regional food banks to end hunger in local communities. Bremer employees throughout Minnesota, North Dakota and Wisconsin participate in the campaign each year by hosting cookouts, organizing food drives and coordinating a variety of other activities.

“We are proud to report the donation totals of our annual hunger awareness campaign,” said Jeanne Crain, president and chief executive officer of Bremer Financial Corporation. “This year, we surpassed the $1.5 million mark in total donations over the history of this campaign thanks to the efforts of our employees, clients and community members. It’s so gratifying to see how together we can deliver real results for the people who need it most in the communities we serve.”
