With a curtain drop, mayoral proclamation and short celebration, Bremer Bank officially launched its new brand and website Monday morning at its headquarters in downtown St. Paul.
“Banking is in a period of considerable transformation as digital capabilities advance and customer expectations change. With a refreshed logo and revitalized website, Bremer Bank is signaling a step to the forefront of this emerging generation of banking while we double down on investing in new and better ways to serve our customers,” said Jeanne Crain, Bremer Bank’s president.
Bremer’s new logo puts a face on its strategic direction as the bank focuses on meeting its customers where they are and in a way that provides value to them. Bremer’s work is largely founded in commercial and agricultural banking throughout its footprint in Minnesota, North Dakota and Wisconsin. The company also debuted a new, redesigned website, tailored to key customer segments and offering unique insights to business and agriculture customers. In addition, Bremer continues to make strategic investments in innovative digital capabilities that both make banking easier and enhance the customer-banker relationship, expanding Bremer’s reach beyond its traditional footprint.
St. Paul Mayor Melvin Carter acknowledged the bank’s long and substantial history in the city with a proclamation declaring it “Bremer Bank Day.”
Bremer Bank was established in 1943 by Otto Bremer, who immigrated to St. Paul in 1886 and spent his lifetime investing in the communities that supported him as he strived to succeed. In 1944, he created the Otto Bremer Trust and established it as the bank’s majority owner. Bremer Bank pays the Otto Bremer Trust 92 percent of its dividends annually.
“For 75 years, Bremer Bank has been committed to helping the places we all call home to grow and prosper. Now, we’re doing it with a new look, a sharpened focus and a transformed website that will enable us to serve our customers in new and better ways for another 75 years and beyond,” Crain said.
