Bremer Bank debuts its Grain Bin Gazebo at the Minnesota State Fair

08.20.19

With an eye on the agriculture customers they’ve served for generations, Bremer Bank is focusing on highlighting Minnesota’s farmers and agribusinesses in its presence at the Minnesota State Fair this year.

Bremer has been the bank of the Minnesota State Fair since 2003, and its physical branch on the Fairgrounds will remain the same. In addition this year, Bremer will debut its “Grain Bin Gazebo” – a booth shaped like a grain bin where the bank will offer free seed packets, sunglasses, and bench space for fairgoers who’d like to take a moment in the shade. Sitting just outside the Agriculture Horticulture building on Judson Avenue, the gazebo is perfectly placed to emphasize Bremer’s agriculture focus. Bremer’s space will also include a sunburst art installation, making a perfect backdrop for fairgoers who want to snap a fun photo to post on social media.

“For 16 years, Bremer has been proud to be the bank of the Minnesota State Fair – and this year we are even more excited to highlight our agriculture partnerships,” said Jeanne Crain, President and CEO of Bremer Bank. “For generations, Bremer Bank has worked elbow-to-elbow with the people who grow our food and strengthen our communities, and we are glad to emphasize that incredible work with an ag-focused presence at the Fair.”

In addition to its Grain Bin Gazebo and giveaways, Bremer is sponsoring the Agriculture Horticulture building and the seed art competition, even awarding its own Bremer Bank Blue Ribbon to an impressive seed art entry. The bank will host its own “How to grow your hobby into a small business” panel on the DIRT demo stage in the ag-hort building, featuring the founders of Ida Valley Farm, Broadway Floral and Organic Bob.
