Bremer Bank breaks ground on new branch location in Amery

09.03.20

Bremer Bank today broke ground on its new, full-service branch location in downtown Amery, Wisconsin. Located at 102 Keller Ave. S., the new 6,000 square-foot building is the result of a year-long collaborative design process and is expected to open in the summer of 2021.

“Bremer Bank has proudly served the Amery community for more than 100 years. This new branch location is a testament to our long-term commitment as a community bank to live our purpose of cultivating thriving communities,” said Jeanne Crain, president and CEO of Bremer Bank. “We’re excited to continue providing essential services to our Amery customers, and look forward to serving the Amery community for many more years to come.”

Bremer’s Amery location currently employs 21 people, all of whom are anticipated to move to the Keller Avenue South location. Space in the new building is also being held for future business partners in the mortgage, insurance and wealth management specialty areas.

“Bremer Bank is excited to reinvest in the Amery community through this new branch,” said Scott Wagner, Bremer’s Amery market president.

“We are looking forward to welcoming customers to our future state-of-the-art branch and continuing to serve the people of Amery for years to come,” said Heather McAbee, Amery consumer banking manager for Bremer Bank.

The Bremer space will include a “Partner Table” instead of a traditional bank teller line for improved service and to foster stronger customer-banker business relationships. Bremer has locations throughout Minnesota, western Wisconsin and North Dakota.

“Businesses like Bremer Bank are important in maintaining Amery’s economic development and strong quality of life,” said Denis Carteron, president of Amery Community Club Chamber. “I’m grateful for Bremer’s continued commitment to the Amery community and for their valuable partnership with the Amery Community Club Chamber.”
