Demonstrating a strong interest in growing its market presence in the Wealth space, Bremer Bank announced today new leadership and several specialized hires in its Wealth services offering, deepening its investment in Wealth Management, Private Banking and Private Client Insurance.

In addition to the new hires reinforcing Bremer’s Wealth team, the company named two new Wealth leaders from within its own ranks, Josh Howard and Marit Haman, to seamlessly coordinate its Wealth customers’ service:
Josh Howard, Chief Investment Officer and Director of Wealth
Hired in January of 2022 as CIO, Josh leads investment strategy and asset management for wealth clients. In August 2022, he added the role of Director of Wealth, overseeing the wealth advisory and financial planning services offered to clients.
Josh has over 20 years working in financial services. Prior to joining Bremer, he spent seven years in a variety of investment leadership roles at RBC Global Asset Management, most recently as the Director of Global Risk Management. His specialty areas include investment risk oversight, asset allocation, portfolio construction and manager due diligence. Josh is a CFA charter holder and former President of the CFA Society Minnesota.

Alexandra Tucci, Portfolio Manager
Alexandra has a rich history in financial services over the last 22 years. Her specialty areas include client service, loan approvals, personal banking management and organization oversight.
Josh Schettle, Senior Portfolio Manager
Josh brings 14 years of financial management experience to Bremer, with his most recent experience at RBC Global Asset Management. Josh’s specialty areas include manager due diligence, asset allocation and performance measurement. He is a CFA charter holder and is a member of the CFA Institute/CFA Society of Minnesota.
Patrick Sonmene, Portfolio Manager
Prior to Bremer Bank, Patrick spent 12 years working in asset management, banking, and private equity, joining Bremer after his most recent experience with RBC Global Asset Management. His specialty areas include risk management, equity analysis and quantitative analysis. Patrick is a CFA charter holder and holds the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations.
Bren Iramina, Wealth Advisor
Bren has more than a decade of experience in financial services with special expertise in investment management, fiduciary administration, trust services, estate planning and charitable giving. Prior to his role at Bremer, he held positions at Bell Bank and Wells Fargo.
Paula Stumne, Senior Wealth Advisor
Paula’s experience in financial services spans multiple decades and industries, with special expertise in personal trusts and estates, tax administration, and inheritance planning. Prior to joining Bremer, she served as the senior vice president and trust officer of the trust department at Security Bank & Trust Co.
Paula is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, the Hennepin County Bar Association and the Minneapolis Estate Planning Council.
Marit Haman, Director of Private Banking
Marit has a proven track record of getting results through disciplined execution. She has been with Bremer more than 23 years, starting as a financial services associate before gaining a wide array of banking and leadership experience in several roles within Bremer. In 2016, Marit started Private Banking in the Fargo region and has since further expanded Bremer’s Wealth capabilities and success, making her an exemplary choice for Director of Private Banking.

Ian Isakson, Private Banker
Ian brings more than a decade of experience in sales and wealth and relationship management to Bremer. Prior to his new role, Ian held positions at U.S. Bank and Wells Fargo, among other institutions.
Tony Rajkowski, Private Client Insurance Advisor
Tony has significant experience in the industry as a Personal Insurance Advisor, and has particular skill with complex, high net worth customers. His experience includes roles as a Personal Lines Sales Manager, expertise in relationship management, personal and family protection, insurance sales, and sales management.
