Bremer Bank names Justin Butler Chief Risk Officer

Bremer Bank today named Justin Butler its new Chief Risk Officer. In this senior executive role, Butler will lead the process of defining and implementing risk identification and management standards to better and more securely serve Bremer Bank customers and communities. Butler comes to Bremer from Wells Fargo, where he served as a senior vice president focused on consumer banking control management.

Butler’s background in risk management strategy spans nearly two decades, with various roles at Fortune 500 companies. His specialty areas include risk transformation and remediation, governance and quality assurance, and strategy and finance. Justin serves on the board of directors for the Greater Twin Cities United Way, the board of trustees for Hamline University and the board of directors for Turning Point. He attended Saint Louis University and Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management.
