Forbes names Bremer Bank a “Best-In-State” Bank in North Dakota

06.26.23

Bremer Bank today announced that it has been recognized as a 2023 Best-In-State Bank in North Dakota. This prestigious recognition is presented by Forbes and Statista Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry-ranking provider. The full awards list was announced June 20 and can be viewed here. Celebrating its 80th anniversary in 2023, Bremer is known for its longstanding work in North Dakota’s agriculture industry and is the ninth-largest ag lender in the United States.

“We are honored to receive this prestigious recognition, underscoring how Bremer continues to carry out and invest in its purpose – instilled in us by our founder, Otto Bremer – of cultivating thriving communities,” said Bremer Bank President and CEO Jeanne Crain. “As we celebrate our 80th anniversary, we are proud to partner with our customers and the marketplace to provide our solutions, expertise, and our interest in building relationships.”

The 2023 Best-In-State Banks were identified by Forbes and Statista based on two sources:

  1. An independent survey: Approximately 26,000 U.S. consumers were asked to rate banks at which they have or previously have had checking/savings accounts. Participants made recommendations regarding overall satisfaction and assessed banks in the following areas: Trust, Terms & Conditions, Branch Services, Digital Services, Customer Service, and Financial Advice.

  2. Publicly available reviews: For each bank in each state, a sentiment analysis approach of publicly available online text reviews and ratings was applied.
