Jan Ebersole has served as the interest rate derivatives director with Bremer Bank since 2023. He provides solid financial guidance and innovative solutions, going beyond traditional banking products and services to be a valuable and strategic partner. By working in sync with external and internal partners, he can help to identify financial risks and opportunities. Jan has the experience, organizational resources and tools necessary to help businesses navigate complex situations in a dynamic economy. Before assuming his current role, Jan served as a director at Chatham Financial, a leading financial risk management firm, advising banks and financial companies in the use of interest rate derivatives. Jan’s extensive experience in the derivatives market started during the early days of Dodd-Frank implementation. He works closely with customers who use interest rate derivatives to manage the debt service of their loans and has partnered with bank management teams to hedge balance sheet interest rate exposure. Earlier in his career, Jan held roles in credit administration and business development at Zions Bancorporation in its Colorado market. Jan holds a Bachelor of Arts with distinction from the University of Virginia and earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Colorado Denver. Jan is also a CFA charterholder from the CFA Institute.
