Bremer Bank Opens Loan Office in Mankato; Adds Business Bankers

Mankato, Minn. - October 21, 2010 - Bremer Bank officially entered the Mankato market on October 4, with the opening of a loan production office. The office, located at 150 St. Andrews Court, Unit 120, is led by Bremer Bank Mankato President Brad Peters. Additionally, Peters was recently joined by two new business bankers, who will be meeting the needs of clients in the community. Richard Ringler joined Bremer as a vice president in business banking and Wally Thomas joined as a vice president in ag banking.

“We are excited to be part of the Mankato community and be on the ground operating in our loan production office,” said Peters. “We are also thrilled to have Richard and Wally joining our new team, serving clients in the Mankato area. Both have extensive experience working in the banking industry and in the Southern Minnesota area. We look forward to meeting many community members in the coming weeks and months.”

Ringler joins Bremer with more than a decade of banking experience at a large financial institution in Mankato. Thomas has more than 12 years of experience managing the Southern Minnesota territory for a large financial institution.

Bremer will construct a new bank building in Mankato located at the intersection of Raintree Road and North Victory Drive. The new bank is slated to open in summer of 2011.

When completed, the new Bremer bank will offer over 8,500 square feet and will include multiple drive-up lanes and a drive-up ATM. The bank will employ nearly 20 people and offer a full-range of retail, ag and business banking, mortgage, investments and insurance products and services.
