Meals for Many: Join Bremer Bank in the Fight to End Hunger
Bremer Will Match Donations $2-for-$1 up to $30,000

St. Paul, Minn. – May 20, 2013 - Join Bremer Bank in the Meals for Many Campaign, June 10-22, 2013. For every $1 donated during this timeframe, Bremer Bank will match it $2-for-$1, up to $30,000. Additionally, check out the hunger campaign video featuring senior citizen musical group “Alive & Kickin” at youtube.com/bremerbanks during the June campaign. Bremer will donate an additional $1 for every view of the hunger video up to $10,000.

During these two weeks in June, donations will be accepted online at Bremer.com or at any Bremer Bank location. One in six people in the United States does not have enough access to food and that is why Bremer is once again matching donations. One hundred percent of donations collected through the Meals for Many campaign are distributed to Second Harvest Heartland and other local Feeding America food banks in Bremer communities in Minnesota, Wisconsin and North Dakota.

“Hunger could be impacting somebody you know,” said Jeanne Crain, president and chief executive officer for Bremer Bank Twin Cities. “It could be your friend, neighbor or co-worker. Every day there are people in our communities that have to choose between buying food, paying rent and paying for medical care. At Bremer, our vision is to build healthy communities through partnerships like the one we have with Second Harvest Heartland. Please join us in the fight to end hunger.”
